BC & Yukon State Council

Yukon Territory Knights of Columbus

Catholic men building a better world through Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

Proudly part of the BC & Yukon State Council, supporting parishes and communities across the Yukon Territory alongside brother councils in British Columbia.

Four pillars

Charity

Supporting families, feeding the hungry, and serving those in need across parishes and northern communities.

Unity

Strengthening parishes and building bonds of faith and brotherhood in a dispersed northern Church.

Fraternity

Growing together in faith and friendship as Catholic men, in councils linked across BC and the Yukon.

Patriotism

Proudly supporting our Church, our communities, and Canada — including those who serve in public life.

Governance & structure

The Yukon Territory does not operate as a separate stand-alone state council. It is governed together with British Columbia as the unified BC & Yukon State Council, which coordinates more than 130 parish-based councils and represents thousands of Catholic men across Western Canada.

For liturgical and pastoral life, Yukon's Catholics are served within dioceses and eparchies whose territories extend into the North — for example, the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of New Westminster, which spans BC, the Yukon, and parts of the Northwest Territories. Local Knights support pastors and parishes within these ecclesiastical boundaries.
